Just like 'The Haunted Mansion' overlay of 'Nightmare Before Christmas.' It's great to see new things at Disneyland. That's what keeps it fresh and alive. Thing to remember too, YourPalEd is this -- If future generations of Imagineers don't like Jack Sparrow and company, they can pull them out and go 'old school' with 'Pirates' and return it to its original 'glory.' All your comments about being a child or a fool. Your comments make you look like a mental case - so there you go.

Calling people here liars, and so on is absolutely uncalled for, and I do believe that YourPalEd owes this group an apology.

The If / Then statement is actually more reasonable than your excerpt. One might say YourPalEd has called a few names himself. just a small observation...

These geniuses gave birth to the theme park industry as it is today, and they made some terrific attractions that I and millions of others have enjoyed. Do I put their work up against Michaelangelo and Picasso? No, I do not. >why the HECK is there a 50th exhibit at one of the nations museums??< Why is the Spirit of St. Louis plane hanging in the Smithsonian? Because it deserves a place of honor, and people for generations can come and see a piece of history. Is the Spirit of St. Louis plane a piece of art? Of course not. Just cuz you're exhibited in a museum doesn't by definition make it art. Historical exhibits rank right up there with art exhibits, and the 50th exhibit is a great example. Did the Disney company at any time in its history create art? Absolutely. IMO, movies as diverse as Fantasia and The Lion King deserve art status. I just don't see Pirates the ride as falling into that category.
