When you are put in charge of a church, you are not being given the right to change the 10 commandments. You repress your own ego, and subservantly observe, and love God, by continuing the traditions of the church, as the head of the church. Don't you? That includes not changing the 10 commandments, even though you could have written them so much better, and promoted your new version of the bible at the same time. Sorry, only a fool or child would even consider changing Pirates, unless, it is to change a few scenes back to their once politically correct forms. The politically correct form is the way Pirates opened, as created originally by the artists who made the ride possible, or as close to it's original form in 1968 as one can get. Tasteful embellishments, that show respect for the original artists could be allowed, but creating a new story, and adding the movie icons as the main centerpiece, should be considered a sin.

Exactly, this is NOT tasteful or enchaning. Its VULGAR. WDI has NO respect for even the 2nd generation Imagineers. Since they have NO ideas of thier OWN they have to destroy everyone elses to justify thiers. And hoping they sell more merch in the process.

At any rate, if you're put in charge of the church, no you don't have the right to rewrite the 10 commandments. However, you do have the right to rip out the pews, replace the altar and order new stained glass windows to be put in. Walt was a man with great drive and vision, but he was just that. A man. One who has long since left us. If maintaining the oriiginality of the rides he had a hand in creating was so important to him, then he should have stipulated that in his will. He didn't, so we get some enhancements to an already great ride.

Cause he left men who he KNEW would honor his vision and respet it. Walker, Tatum, and Miller kept the falme buring long after and kept us from psychos like Braverman until Pressler was unleashed.

I highly doubt it. There are procedures and provisions in place if Walt really wanted to preserve anything in the park long after his demise. If he didn't choose to do so, then it wasn't very important to him obviously.

I thought i would go to the el capitan for Pirates 2, now i have no intention of ever seeing it or 3, in the theatre or on dvd. If someone gives me the dvd of any of the films, i will never put them on. If they are watching it at their house, i will leave, or talk throughout the movie. I will only go to the theatre to see one of the Pirate films if someone gives me a free ticket. And that does not include paybacks, no paybacks.

If something didn't work well, he would be the fist to tweak it or simply rip it out. Ever hear of Phantom Boats or the View Liner? Anyway, YourPalEd good luck in getting your point across to WDI, I'm sure that they are all ears.
