    The galley was a restaurant in the yacht club. The meal I had there was one of the best meals I had in a sit down restaurant in WDW. Too bad they closed it down.

    Wow... the Yacht Club is the ONE Disney Hotel I would never return to again. I guess Disney has something for everyone... the Yacht Club is just not for me. I found nothing about it to like, outside of the pool.

I have never been in Shades of Green, but Yacht Club has to have the worst lobby of any Disney resort. And to think this resort is a Deluxe. Wilderness Lodge and AKL even thought have less expensive rooms have far superior lobbys.

    I hear a lot of people say they don't like the Yacht Club. My wife and I go there every year for our anniversary and always request a room that gives us a nice view of the Boardwalk. As I said, I own DVC at BW, but it is a much better view looking at the BW from the YC than the other way around. We use the quiet pools wherever we go but once in a while I like to go in the main pool and float around.
