Ever since, chocolate has become a new hobby for me. I never been the sort of person to have to eat it very often before. One day I was pulling out a box of pasta out of the cupboard to cook for dinner and an open package of chocolate chips caught my eye. It was like love at first sight. LOL

I've never gone to the store specifically for chocolate before that shot.

I have girlfriends who will actually eat spoonfulls of hershey's syrup or leftover chocolate frosting because they need chocolate so badly. I have never understood it until now. I'm still not going to do it (I hope) and hopefully my new obsession will fade away again.

(I'm sorry to rant but that stupid Depo screwed me up. LOL)

I really enjoyed the food too when I was in the hospital. I think it is because eating was a change from just laying there. The high points of my day were eating and having my IV changed!! LOL

Well, that and looking at Nurse Barb, but we won't talk about that...

    ;-)

So, I do understand where you're coming from, and I empathize!

Oddly enough, other sweets don't have much appeal to me. Cookies and candy are ok, but I can walk away fairly easily. I don't even care for cakes or pies. Why soda? <sigh>

Besides soda, those green-tea frappaccino things from Starbucks are almost as evil. Yum!
