I keep my girls in the cupboard under the stairs. They're only allowed out to be my servants and go to school.

    Of course, I'm joking. :)

Then we'd sit in our car at the Mc Donalds across the street and eat our food & watch the Monorail cruise by. We'd take a ride around the park and head home. He did this all for me! And now that we have a 6 year old daughter, her and I go on YouTube and watch videos of the Disneyland rides. Annual passes: coming our way soon!!

When my hubby and I were also dating and just moved to California in 99-00(way before we became passholders) we used to drive to Disneyland at night and walk to the esplande and stand outside the main entrance gate like poor lost puppies starring in at the train station and listening to the parade from outside. Sometimes we would even stay and watch the fireworks!

I look back now and feel soo bad for us, we were bad. I won't mention that we also used to walk the Disneyland hotel since parking was free for the first hour and watch the fantasy waters show to get our Disney fix. ;)

This one time we actually found 2 used passports out by the gates so we picked them up, told a cm stamping hands we had forgot to get our hands stamped and they stamped us and we got in. (We went to the car to get our sweatshirts first). It was towards the end of the night but we rode Pirates and had our own boat. This was back in 1990. We also used to go to the Disneyland hotel to watch the dancing waters show too or play video games in the arcade. Sometimes we even played with the mini boats that you stirred with those big wheels that took coins.

Just moved closer to DL only 12 hours away now instead of 20 so I think we are going to buy an annual pass and begin multiple trips a year instead of the annual summer trip. Just spent time tonight planning the Tiki room song and the others on the Disneyland website for my daughter and nieces in anticipation of our trip. We were all singing along in the kitchen as we listened; ok, mostly I was singing...

That's what happened to me last night when I saw the ad for the very first time. It's something you simply have no control over - pure Disneyland love.
