I admit that I'm partial to the "vintage" classics since I grew up with them and have such fond memories attached ("Sleeping Beauty", "Cindy", "Sword/Stone", "101", "Robin Hood", etc.), but when I see a newer one like LM I really appreciate how terrific it is. Some people really praise B&TB's music, which *is* great, but I think I personally enjoy and prefer LM's more. Plus I've always been an aquatic-lover anyway...and Flotsam and Jetsam rock! :-D

Yes, I am 100% *AGAINST* these wasts of money, animation, music, voice talent, etc. I was so thrilled when I heard Mary Costa say that if they ever planned to do a "Sleeping Beauty" sequel (*shudder*), she would not participate, wouldn't promote it, etc. THANK YOU Ms. Costa!

Some live action movies can have sequels, but when it comes to Disney movies, it's just a different thing. They have the Disney magic that no other films do---so yes, please, don't mess with the magic.

I did not know Mary Costa said that - Good for her! There are only a few classics they have not made sequels too yet and I hope they never do: Sleeping Beauty, Pinocchio, Snow White, Alice in Wonderland, nd seriously those are the only ones I can think of off the top of myhead right now (though i am sure there are more...right??!)
